What We Offer
Our mission is to make music production accessible to all students. We offer a comfortable, acoustically treated control room
- Recording: Capture professional-quality audio for demos, podcasts, or full albums.
- Mixing & Mastering: Utilize industry-standard software and monitors to polish your tracks.
- Production: Work on beats, sound design, and electronic music using our MIDI controllers and synthesizers.
- Workshops: Attend free student-led workshops on topics like Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, and DJing
Booking and Access
The Sound Lab is available for booking for all SOSETH members.
To reserve a time, you must have a booking account.
- To get an account: Please email info@sos.ethz.ch to request one.
- Once you have an account: You can reserve a session at our Booking Page.
💬 FAQ
Do I need my own laptop or software?
Not at all! Our studio iMac has Logic Pro X, Ableton Live Suite, and Pro Tools installed and ready to go.
I’ve never recorded before. Is this for me?
Absolutely! We were all beginners once :)
