Photo Lab

News & Updates

Introductory courses have been running again since the summer. All registrations will continue to be added to our waiting list without a reply.

Please be patient.

Since our black-and-white photo lab is run on a voluntary basis by students and alumni, our offer is aimed at students and employees (ETH/UZH).

Darkroom

Well-equipped photo lab for developing and enlarging your own photos

Enlarger

The black-and-white photo lab is located in the MM building next to the ASVZ Polyterrasse, and is equipped for 35mm and medium format.

Paper enlargements are developed by hand in trays, “the old-fashioned way”. Of course, you can also develop black-and-white films yourself. Detailed instructions, various film tanks for the different formats and a film drying cabinet are available.

Thanks to the electronic access system with your personal badge, the photo lab is accessible Mon–Fri from 6:30am to 10:00pm and Sat–Sun from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The photo lab can be conveniently reserved online.
